1. Introduction
These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern the provision of vehicle recovery and related services by G2 Logistics Ltd, trading as NC Recovery ("we", "us", "our"), to you ("the customer", "you", "your"). By requesting and using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Our Services
We provide the following services, subject to availability and at our discretion:
- Vehicle breakdown recovery
- Accident recovery and scene clearance
- Roadside assistance (jump starts, tyre changes, emergency fuel delivery)
- Electric and hybrid vehicle recovery
- Motorbike recovery
- Winch-out recovery
- Vehicle transport
- Vehicle storage
We recover vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes gross vehicle weight. We reserve the right to refuse any job that we consider unsafe, impractical, or outside our capability.
3. Booking and Acceptance
When you contact us to request a service, we'll give you an estimate based on the information you provide. A contract is formed when we accept your booking and confirm we're on our way. The estimate is based on what you tell us at the time of booking. If the situation is materially different when we arrive (e.g., the vehicle is heavier than stated, the location is different, or extra work is needed), we reserve the right to adjust the price and will let you know before proceeding.
4. Pricing and Payment
All prices given over the phone are estimates based on the information you provide. A full evaluation of the job can only be carried out once our recovery operative is on scene, and the final price is confirmed there before work begins. Every job is subject to our call-out fee. Additional charges may apply in the following circumstances:
- The vehicle or situation is materially different from what was described when booking
- Additional services are requested on-site (e.g., winching, additional transport distance)
- The vehicle is in a location that wasn't disclosed or is significantly harder to access than described
- Waiting time exceeds a reasonable period due to circumstances within your control
Payment is due when the job's done unless we've agreed otherwise. We accept cash, bank transfer, and card. If payment isn't received, we reserve the right to hold the vehicle until payment is made in full.
5. Vehicle Ownership and Authority
By requesting our services, you confirm that you're the registered owner of the vehicle or that you have the owner's authority to request recovery. We may ask for proof of ownership. We won't knowingly recover stolen vehicles and will cooperate with police if any suspicion arises.
6. Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate information about your vehicle, its location, and the nature of the problem
- Removing all personal belongings from the vehicle before recovery (we accept no liability for items left in the vehicle)
- Ensuring the vehicle is accessible and that we can safely reach it
- Informing us of any relevant information about the vehicle (e.g., modifications, damage, hazardous contents)
- Being present or available by phone during the recovery process
7. Insurance and Liability
NC Recovery carries comprehensive goods-in-transit insurance and public liability insurance. Our liability is limited to direct loss or damage caused by our negligence during the recovery process. We aren't liable for:
- Pre-existing damage to your vehicle
- Mechanical or electrical faults that existed before recovery
- Damage caused by providing inaccurate or incomplete information about your vehicle
- Loss of personal belongings left in the vehicle
- Any indirect or consequential losses, including loss of earnings, loss of use, or any other financial loss arising from the recovery
- Delays caused by circumstances outside our control, including traffic, weather, road closures, or other emergencies
- Additional damage sustained during the removal of a vehicle that is off the road or in a position where further damage cannot reasonably be avoided (e.g., in a ditch, on an embankment, in mud or water, or resting against an obstacle). In these situations we will always use the most appropriate method available, but recovery from such positions carries an inherent risk of further damage and we accept no liability for it
Where we are found to be at fault, the damage will be covered through our insurance. Proof of insurance is available on request at any time. Damage claims are handled under the process set out in section 8 below.
8. Damage Claims
Before our operatives touch any vehicle, it is photographed and documented on scene. This record forms the baseline condition of the vehicle at the point we took responsibility for it, and it is the evidence against which any damage claim is assessed.
- Time limit: Any claim for damage must be submitted to us within 5 working days of the job being completed. If damage is reported more than 5 working days after the job took place, we hold no responsibility for it and the claim will not be considered.
- Evidence required: All claims must be submitted with full details of the claim and clear images of the alleged damage. We will not accept accusations made without evidence, or claims that cannot demonstrate the damage was not present before we handled the vehicle.
- Investigation: Every valid claim will be investigated against our on-scene photographs and documentation.
- Admin fee: If our investigation finds no fault on our part, a fee of £45 plus VAT is applicable to cover administration time.
- Where we are at fault: If accountability is found to be on our side, the damage will be covered in full through our insurance. Proof of insurance is always provided upon request.
To submit a claim, email info@ncrecovery.co.uk with your name, the date and location of the job, a full description of the claim, and supporting images.
9. Vehicle Storage
If we store your vehicle, the following terms apply:
- Storage charges are calculated on a daily basis and will be communicated to you in advance
- We'll take reasonable care of your vehicle while it's in our storage facility, but we aren't liable for any deterioration resulting from the vehicle's existing condition
- You must collect your vehicle within the agreed storage period. If you fail to do so, additional storage charges will apply
- We reserve the right to dispose of uncollected vehicles in accordance with applicable law after giving reasonable notice
- Access to stored vehicles is by appointment only
10. Cancellation
If you cancel before we've dispatched a recovery vehicle, there's no charge. Once a recovery vehicle has been dispatched, a cancellation fee of £100 applies. If our recovery operative is already on scene when you cancel, the call-out fee is also payable in addition to the £100 cancellation fee.
11. Force Majeure
We aren't liable for any delay or failure to perform our services due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, flooding, road closures, accidents, civil disturbance, strikes, pandemics, or government restrictions.
