Our Accreditations
Independently assessed, properly trained. These are the certificates behind the claims on this site.
Call 01722 466784NC Recovery is IMI accredited, including IMI-approved hybrid and electric vehicle work, and our operator training runs through the Network Training Partnership, the recovery industry's specialist training provider. Certificates are available on request: call 01722 466784.
Anyone can buy a truck. Not everyone gets assessed.
There is no licence you need to call yourself a recovery operator in the UK. That's exactly why independent accreditation matters: it's the difference between "trust me" and "here's the assessment". Ours are below, and you can ask to see the certificates any time.
IMI Accredited
The Institute of the Motor Industry has been the professional body for the UK motor trade since 1920. IMI accreditation means our work is assessed against the industry's standard by an independent body, not self-declared. It covers the way we work on and around your vehicle, from arrival at the roadside to delivery.
IMI Approved: Hybrid & Electric Vehicles
EVs and hybrids carry high-voltage systems that are genuinely dangerous to work around untrained, and towing an EV on its driven wheels can wreck its drivetrain. This IMI approval is the qualification behind our EV recovery service: safe handling, safe loading, flatbed transport.
Network Training Partnership
The Network Training Partnership is the recovery industry's specialist training provider. Training through the Network covers the job as it actually happens: working safely beside live traffic, winching, loading and securing vehicles properly. Roadside skills, not just classroom theory.
